The MG Motor seems like is in the process of introducing the facelift version of Astor in India. Ahead of the official release, the SUV has been spotted without any camouflage, revealing all the major updates from outside and inside.
To note, the company has not revealed any details about the launch as yet. However, some report claims that the updated version might arrive soon in the market.
Top Updates
As per the leaked images, the SUV looks quite different from the ongoing model. It features a completely fresh design from the outside, featuring striking front fascia, a redesigned bumper, futuristic diamond mesh grille, and a massive bonnet with the company’s chrome finish logo on the top.
The upcoming SUV flaunts the updated headlight setup, paired with the trending connected LED DRLs at both ends. The vehicle also has been treated with a decent amount of chrome around the window, which makes look more appealing than ever. The side cladding also has been improved. Now, it offers a better road appearance compared to the existing model.
Rear Profile
Talking about the rear, the vehicle looks quite similar to the current model. It gets the same style taillight unit, and offers an improved rear bumper. The vehicle has also received updated dual-tone alloy wheels, making it bolder than ever.
The leaks also gave a glimpse of the interior as well. The upcoming Astor features the dark theme cabin, featuring dual screens, a multi-functional 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls.
Specifications
The spec-related details are still under wrap as yet. As far as the current model is concerned, it is powered by two engine options. It can be purchased with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates a maximum power of 108 BHP and 144 Nm. The SUV is also available in a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out a maximum of 138 BHP and 220 Nm.
