Hero MotoCorp today launched two new scooters in India at Auto Expo 2018 – the Duet 125 and Maestro Edge 125. The new Hero Duet 125 and Maestro Edge 125 is powered by a new i3S 125 cc engine that produces 8.5 bhp and churns out 10 Nm of peak torque. The engine on the scooters gets i3S technology, also seen on other Hero MotoCorp bikes. i3s is the Hero stop-start technology. The scooters get a new H shaped taillight. The new 2018 Maestro Edge 125 gets a new analog-digital console, telescopic fork, alloy wheels and LED taillight. It also features a mobile charging slot.
The new Hero Duet gets fresh styling, chrome accents and large blinkers and the new Maestro Edge gets disc brakes, Side stands indicator and external fuel filler.
Hero MotoCorp also unveiled the new 200cc Hero XPulse which will share the engine the Xtreme 200R naked street bike. The Hero Xpulse will be a big upgrade from the Impulse. The new Hero XPulse gets full LED headlamps, spoke wheels, 18-inch rear tyre, 190 mm suspension travel, 170 mm adjustable rear travel.
It also gets high tensile steel swingarm, 220mm ground clearance and 825 mm seat height making it a proper off-roader. The company will launch this product soon in the Indian market.
