BMW M3 is the fourth generation of M3 cars and sports a V8 engine.

Amby Valley, Pune: For all you Beemer fans, here's some good news. BMW plans to add about five new products to its existing Indian portfolio, including the 3 series convertible, Homologate X6 and the entire range of M series.

The official announcement for the introduction of the Classic Mini is also expected in early 2008. The X5, powered by a 3-litre diesel engine and priced at about Rs 63 lakh, will be available from December onwards..

“We have now the entire X product available. Next year we will introduce our famous M cars to the Indian market,” BMW India President Peter Kronschnabl declares.

BMW M3 is the fourth generation of M3 cars and sports a V8 engine for the first time. And it gives a whopping 420 bhp at 8400 rpm.

The coupe M3 weighs just about 1580 kgs, thanks to the aluminium bonnet, aluminium housing engine case and carbon fibre roof. This supercar does 0-100 is just 4.8 seconds..

“M3 is a great car. It’s fantastic. It’s the best M3 ever,” Kronschnabl vouches.

If you are wanting to buy this supercar, you can very soon get it as the company is officially launching the new M3 at the Auto Expo in Delhi this January. So get ready to shell out Rs 74 lakh for this.
