Amitabh Bachchan Steps Out Of Jalsa To Greet Fans Amid Hospitalisation Rumours

Last week, reports surfaced that Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan had been hospitalised and that he had undergone an angioplasty for his heart. The actor or his family, however, had not made any public statement regarding the same. While concerned fans flooded social media with ‘get well soon’ messages and wanted to know details, they were left surprised after Amitabh Bachchan was spotted with Abhishek Bachchan cheering for their team at the Indian Street Premier League. All the rumours of his hospitalisation were immediately put to rest.

The rumours were further put to rest on March 17, when Amitabh Bachchan surprised everyone by appearing at his usual Sunday gathering with fans outside his Jalsa apartment, displaying his usual charm and vitality. Despite the ongoing rumours, Amitabh Bachchan was seen attending to his fans with his customary grace and warmth. Dressed casually in a hoodie and pants, he greeted the gathered crowd with a radiant smile, reassuring them of his well-being. Sharing snippets of the interaction on Twitter, Bachchan further eased concerns, confirming his strong health and unwavering spirit. On March 16, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted leaving the Dadoji Kondadev stadium in Thane after watching the ISPL match between the Tigers of Kolkata and Majhi Mumbai. When media persons asked him about his health while leaving the stadium, the actor leaned in and simply said ‘Fake news’ in response.

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the action film Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. The film was a critical and commercial failure. He will be seen in the upcoming science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD. It stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in lead roles. Apart from this, he will be seen with Rajinikanth in the Tamil film Vettaiyan.
