Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 22. Numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar and Randeep Hooda, among others, have been invited to the ceremony. Ahead of the big day, popular singer Kailash Kher who would also be gracing the auspicious event revealed that he is well prepared with the Swarovski diamond studded jacket and more.
Speaking with Hindustan Times, Kailash Kher shared, “Hamare designers ne Swarovski aur American diamonds se ‘Jai Shri Ram’ likhwaya hai hamari jacket pe. When I wear it though, whether on 21st or 22nd will be decided by the Lord. Another jacket of mine has the Mahamritunjay Mantra and Jai Siya Ram written all over. The current atmosphere is like that of a family celebration. Also today India is no longer looked at with pity. Mujhe koi bhi phone karta hai baahar se toh ab baat karta hai ‘arre waah Bharat’.”
He added, “Hum sirf kalpana mein sochte the Ram Mandir, imagination mein reh gaya tha. Ab lag raha hai ki daata duniya badal raha hai. The moment news about my invitation got out, people have been calling and messaging. My parents must be very happy seeing all this from dev lok.”
Expressing his devotion towards God, Kailash Kher also stated that all his songs have been pre-determined by God himself, “Humko choose nahi karne dete daata. I just recorded another song for an upcoming film based on terrorism. He makes me run around, doesn’t let me rest. Today, 50 people are there in my team, I pay salaries to all of them. I remember the day when I came to Mumbai with nothing and told God ‘hamara haath pakadne wala koi nahi hai’,” the singer concluded.
For the unversed, the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Lalla within the temple is scheduled between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm on January 22. Besides PM Modi, The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple inauguration will be attended by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, and president of the temple trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. It is reported that over 7,000 people have been invited by the temple trust.
