New Delhi: The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group's Reliance Communications subscribers can now call anywhere in the country at Rs 1 per minute by buying a calling card.
The company announced on Thursday the launch of a Reliance STD calling card that would enable customers to avail of this facility.
"The launch of the calling card would enable more than 26 million of our subscribers to call any network in the country at Rs 1 per minute," said S P Shukla, president (personal business), Reliance Communications.
The new tariff would be applicable on Rs 675 denomination calling cards, which will offer 601 minutes of talk time having a validity of 30 days.
Any subscriber of Reliance Communications - pre-paid, post-paid, mobile and fixed line - can use this card.
Earlier Thursday State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited slashed its STD rates to Rs1 a minute for all its customers.
