After PAK vs AFG Virat Kohli Continues to Lead Golden Bat Race; Mitchell Santner Tops Most Wickets Tally
Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali remain in the top-10 wicket-taking charts while Abdullah Shafique manages to get into the top-10 run-scoring charts after his half-century against Afghanistan.

After Afghanistan’s thrilling victory over Pakistan in what was a historic victory for the Afghan nation, there have been some changes to the top 10 charts for the Golden Bat as well as the Golden Ball.

ICC World Cup: Schedule | Results | Points Table | Most Runs | Most Wickets

Pakistan’s Abdullah Shafique managed to find himself in the sixth position after scoring a half-century in the game against Afghanistan. Rizwan however finds himself out of the top 10 after a dismal score of 8 runs in the game. Kohli maintains his reign at the top of the table with 354 runs of which he scored 95 against New Zealand.

In tomorrow’s fixture, South Africa take on Bangladesh and Quinton de Kock will be eager to get back amongst the runs after he started off well scoring back-to-back centuries in the first two games.

Among the wicket-taking charts, Pakistan’s Hasan Ali manages to find himself at the tenth position having picked up in the game. Shaheen Afridi now sits at the fifth position having picked up one wicket in the game against Afghanistan to make it ten wickets. Santner maintains his spot at the top but the likes of Dilshan Madushanka, Kagiso Rabada and Adam Zampa will be eyeing the top spot with the bowlers having only played four games till now.

With Bangladesh vs South Africa taking place tomorrow, Kagiso Rabada could be making his way to the top if he is able to pick up some wickets as well. Maybe, it could be someone else who is currently not in the top 10 charts who storms their way into the rankings.

India’s Jasprit Bumrah will also be looking to get back amongst the wickets and get the top spot when they face England while Mohammed Shami could get a chance to retain his place in the squad and follow up after a stunning fifer on his first game in the tournament against New Zealand.
