The JKBOSE conducted the Class 10th examination in the hard zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir between April 4 and May 9

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) has released the much-awaited results of the JKBOSE Class 10th board examination on June 13. Students who appeared in the board exam from hard zone and soft zone areas can check their results on the official website of the JKBOSE at jkbose.nic.in. They will need to enter their roll numbers as mentioned on the admit cards and date of birth in the designated columns to access the mark sheets.

Every year, more than 50,000 students appear in the Class 10th board examination in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Last year, the numbers were quite high. Among 148,701 applicants, 118,791 secured qualifying marks in the examination, recording a passing percentage of 79.89. Girls dominated the merit list, achieving an 81.68 pass percentage while boys registered 78.23 percent.

JKBOSE Class 10th RESULTS 2024: PASS PERCENTAGE OVER THE YEARS

Let’s take a look at the pass percentage of the JKBOSE Class 10th Exam in the past few years–

While more than one lakh candidates took the Class 10th board exam in 2023, the number of applicants was 43,123 in 2022. In that year, 78.01 per cent of boys passed the exam and girls recorded 83.65 per cent.

In 2021, the pass percentage of the boys was 75 whereas 81.02 percent of the female students achieved the qualifying marks.

The JKBOSE Class 10th results of 2020 saw an overall pass percentage of 70 after around 30,000 students appeared in the exam.

A total of 53,807 students applied for the Class 10th board exam in Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. Nearly 64.91 per cent of candidates secured passing marks.

Almost 84 per cent of applicants passed the JKBOSE Class 10th exam in 2018. The total number of candidates was 50,122 and girls outpaced boys in terms of pass percentage.

This year, the JKBOSE conducted the Class 10th examination in the hard zone areas of Jammu and Kashmir between April 4 and May 9. The students across the soft zone areas had their exams a bit earlier, between March 11 and April 4. In 2023, the results of the JKBOSE Class 10th final exam were released in the third week of June.
