Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2024: Transfer Policy Changed For Kids Of Private Employees
The private employee children or ward will not be able to avail the facility of a state transfer.

The process of application for admission in the Kendriya Vidyalaya commenced on April 1. Application for class 1 admission can be done through the official link https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/. According to new information, the rules for the admissions of private employees’ children have been changed this year. The reports state that the change is related to the transfer policy. As per the new policy, the private employee children or ward will not be able to avail the facility of a state transfer. It means that if the parents are private sector employees and are transferred to another state, their children will not be able to get a transfer. Reportedly, this policy is a source of concern for parents, as many of them work in the private sector and are transferred frequently.

It is being reported that the number of seats has been lowered in the Kendriya Vidyalaya. Forty children were admitted in each class from the primary to the higher secondary, earlier. Now, they are only accepting thirty two seats for admission. It shows that eight seats were removed from each class. Prior to this, the vacant seats were given to the children of parents employed in any sector. Now, only the parents who are employed in government jobs can avail this facility for their children.

The applications for admissions in classes 1 to 9 are going to be done till April 15. While the admission process for class 11 will take place after the CBSE announces the 10th results. As per more information, the admission registration will start after 10 days of the result announcement.

To get an admission in class 1, in Kendriya Vidyalaya, the student should be 6 years old. They should be born before April 1, 2018.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya operates under the government of India and is a system of schools found across the country. Their aim is to provide quality education to the children of government employees. Private employees can also admit their children.
