Forensic science can be defined as the application of scientific methods to criminal cases. This science deals with the analysis of evidence in criminal cases. Employment opportunities have increased by a significant margin in this field. Keeping in mind its importance, the Union government at a Cabinet meeting has cleared Rs 2,254 crore to build National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). The Union government has done this across the country in alignment with the government’s policy to overhaul the criminal justice system. 3. Master of Science in Cyber Security (Goa Campus) – Five-Year Integrated Course

5. MA Police and Security Studies (Gujarat Campus) Five-Year Integrated Course

6. PG Diploma Security Studies (Gujarat Campus) – Five-Year Course

7. Basics of Fingerprint Sciences (Gujarat Campus) – 5 Years Course

7. MBA (Master of Business Administration) Hospital and Healthcare Management – (Gujarat Campus) Five-Year Integrated Course

How to procure admission to NFSU

National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) conducts entrance examinations for admission, that is National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT). Application for NFAT has to be submitted by clicking the university website https://nfsu.ac.in/. Candidates can submit the applications regarding admission to this university in February-March. The application for admission for the year 2024-25 session was submitted in February.

Fee for NFSU

Fees at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) are different according to the course and campus. The tuition fee for BSc and MSc in Criminology and Forensic Science (Delhi Campus) is Rs 65,000.
