Delhi Technological University secured rank 29 in the latest list of NIRF rankings.

The institute we are talking about today is also a great engineering college. It is better than many new IITs. In terms of engineering studies, the NIRF ranking of this institute is 29. The name of this institute is Delhi Technological University (DTU). Earlier, the name of this institute was Delhi College of Engineering. Apart from engineering technology, art and sculpture, architecture, pharmacy, and management are taught in the institute. But its biggest identity is in its engineering department. At present, 15 undergraduate, 30 PG, and PhD courses are conducted here.

You can understand the importance of this institute from the fact that it has left behind IIT Mandi’s ranking of 33, IIT Jodhpur’s ranking of 30, IIT Patna’s ranking of 41, IIT Tirupati’s ranking of 59, IIT Palakkad’s ranking of 69, IIT Bhilai’s ranking of 81, and IIT Dharwad’s ranking of 93.

According to reports, last year a student here was offered a package of Rs 62.24 lakh for a job in India. At the same time, another student was offered a package of 1.8 crores for an overseas job. Companies like Google, Accenture, Adobe, PWC, Paytm, JP Morgan, Oracle, IBM, and TCS came here for placement.

Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. In 2009, the college was given university status, thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University.
