If you are preparing for UPSC or any other competitive exams and are searching for a well-equipped library with necessary books, along with expert guidance, then the Raja Mahendra Pratap Central Library, operating in the Chaudhary Charan Singh University campus of Meerut, could be a helpful place for you. The university administration has established a dedicated block for aspirants of UPSC and other competitive examinations.
In conversation with the Local18 team, Professor Dr. Jamal Ahmed Siddiqui, President of Raja Mahendra Pratap Central Library, explained that due to the large number of students preparing for major competitive exams like UPSC, a special Career Guidance and Counseling Center for Examination has been set up.
Take Expert Guidance
Professor Siddiqui mentioned that the vast UPSC syllabus requires reference books by various authors. The library will provide all the required study material and aspirants can also take advice from the available experts and seniors. According to him, this will enhance students’ performance in exams.
Register For Free
Dr. Siddiqui further informed that all the students preparing for competitive exams can register for the library free of charge. No fees will be collected from such students. After registration, a library card will be issued to access the place. The library will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The professor also highlighted that there are hundreds of students in various blocks of university, preparing for competitive exams. They are welcome to use the library or can access the digital library facilities as required.
