The UP Board Class 10th and 12th results have been released by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council. According to the official information, 82.60 per cent of students have passed the intermediate examination, while 89.55 per cent passed the high school examination.
Prachi Nigam, a resident of Sitapur, has secured first position in Uttar Pradesh by securing 98.50 per cent marks in the 10th school examination. At the same time, Shubham Verma from Sitapur has secured first position in the state by scoring 97.80 per cent in the intermediate examination.
Talking about Agra, Saumya has topped the district with 97.17% in the Class 10th exam. Anu Dhakre, a resident of Kundaul, has secured first position in the district by securing 97% in the intermediate examination. Anu has secured top rank in Agra district and 5th rank in UP by scoring 97% marks in the intermediate examinations. She is a student at PS Inter College.
During a conversation with Local18, Anu’s father Vinod Kumar said that Anu is brilliant in her studies right from the beginning. “Anu is very good in studies from the beginning and she also secured first division in the high school examination. She studies for 5 to 6 hours a day and her mother Kamlesh, who is a teacher, is behind her success. Anu wants to do IIT in future,” he said.
Kumar is a private employee and said he works hard day and night to make his daughter go to IIT. He further said that he would give good education to all his children. Saumya, a resident of Fatehpur Sikri, has secured first rank in the Agra district and eighth rank in UP by scoring 97.17 marks in the high school examination. She gave full credit for her success to her maternal grandfather Jaipal Singh, who is a farmer.
Singh became very emotional while talking to News18 and said that 5 years ago, Saumya and her mother separated from her father. Since then, he has taken the entire responsibility of her education. He further said that his wife died in an accident 5 years ago, and after a few days, due to some reasons, his daughter had to leave her in-laws’ house. Soumya, her mother Gudiya Devi is now living in Fatehpur Sikri along with her 3 children.
He added that he has only two and a half bighas of land in his share and from that income only, he used to meet the expenses of Soumya and her sister and brother’s education as well as their household expenses. Saumya’s dream is to become an IAS officer and she is working hard day and night to achieve her goal, he added.
