Dunga has asserted that a comeback for 'O Fenomeno' is not impossible.

New Delhi: Dunga has praised the latest comeback of three-time Player of the Year Ronaldo, and publicly stated in his latest press conference that a spot in the national team may still be on the table for the 32-year-old striker.

"I’ve said already that the national team doors are open for any player who is technically good enough," the coach began. "He is certainly in excellent form and is being watched by the technical staff."

Since his return to football, playing for Corinthians in Brazil, Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in 13 appearances for the club, something that has been keeping him on the international radar of late.

"Ronaldo has never stopped scoring goals," Dunga continued.

"It’s the first time since 2006 that he has managed to play more than 10 games in a row, so the trend is for him to progress. He knows his potential. There is one year between now and the World Cup for everyone to work and earn a chance," he said.
