Manchester: Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is under consideration at Manchester United after English champions failed with the bid to sign Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. According to The Guardian, former Tottenham star is said to have long been admired by David Moyes.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti has stated this week he is planning the new season with Modric part of his squad but bid around of 30 million pounds may be accepted by the Spanish giants.
He joined Madrid from Tottenham for 33m pounds yet failed to make any real impression with La Liga fans voting him one of the worst signings of the summer.
