New Delhi: Dynamo Kiev are all set to host Manchester United in their Champions League Group F encounter at the NSC Olympiyskiy Stadium in Kiev on Tuesday night.
Kiev are looking for their first win of the competition this season even as United look pretty strong having conceded just four goals in 13 games this season.
Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic are fit to play for Manchester United but striker Louis Saha is expected to sit out due to injury. A victory against Keiv would ensure the English club a place in the next round of Champions League.
"I think they have, I said some weeks ago, it is a team that is coming together. I think that in Tevez and Rooney we have two exceptional good footballers. They are strong, they are real threats to defenders I think and you know it is always a big consideration tomorrow. Obviously there is a tactical part of the game as there always is in Europe but they have to be under consideration simply because I think their form is good enough, " Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United manager, said.
Another club from England that will be in action on Tuesday night is Arsenal who face Slavia Prague in the Group H match at the Emirates Stadium in London.
Arsenal will be looking for their third successive win in the group and they have shown some great form in the past few months and won their last 11 games. Arsenal beat Sevilla 3-0 in their last match at the Stadium
"It is a typical tricky tie because you could think that we have beaten Sparta Prague so we will beat Slavia Prague, we are favourites so we will win - but the Champions League top level competition doesn't work like that. I would say we had problems to beat Steaua Bucharest, we had to dig very deep and they have beaten Steaua Bucharest. They have scored two goals at Sevilla, and so I find it is a typical tricky game for us because if we are not focussed 100 per cent we will have big problems with them," Arsene Wenger. Arsenal manager, said.
In the other matches, CSKA Moscow host Internazionale in Group G while Glasgow Rangers host Barcelona in what promises to be an exciting Group E Champions League match.
Moscow need a win desperately to revive their hopes of reaching the knockout phase. The Italian champions are unbeaten in Serie A this season.
Moscow have just one point from their first two games this season but Daniel Carvalho's return is expected to give a big boost to the Russian side.
Meanwhile, both Rangers and Barcelona are yet to lose any match in the tournament.
Rangers, the home side, will be boosted by their 3-0 win against Celtic in the last match.
Barcelona, meanwhile, had beaten Lyon 3-0 at home in their Group opener, and then went on to beat Stuttgart 2-0 in the away match. Barcelona will be without Deco for the match. Deco is out injured due to his thigh injury.
"I think it is going to be a tough game tomorrow night, we have seen Rangers play and they are in very good shape especially in Champions League and it is a very strong team. With the crowd, yeah, the ambience so we have to prepare. We are always starting a game with confidence because that is normal, try to play our game but it will be a tough game but we are looking forward to it," Frank Rijkaard, Barcelona coach, said.
