Kolkata: Newly-promoted Mohammadan Sporting Thursady picked R Dhanarajan to lead the side in the upcoming season.
The Kerala midfielder will have experienced city striker Ashim Biswas as his deputy, club official Mohammed Qamruddin said.
At a time when other clubs are struggling to make their teams in the wake of current financial crisis in the state, Mohammedan Sporting have a glittering build up to the season.
The historic fan-based club, who have qualified for the top tier I-League for the first time since 2009, have signed up high profile foreigners in Luciano Sabrosa, Penn Orji, Joshimar d'Silva and Tolgay Ozbey.
The black-and-white brigade also have Nigerian coach Moshood Bola Abdul Aziz on board as they are aiming to make it count in the upcoming 2013-14 season.
