Pain Fruit Overview
Pain Fruit is not a very popular fruit to use. It's pretty expensive, and there are lower-rarity fruits that are better choices (like Magma and Light, both Rare quality fruits). Despite this, Pain Fruit can be useful in PvP, and it has great combo potential if you're a skilled Blox Fruits player. It isn't recommended to use Pain Fruit for the entire time playing Blox Fruits, however.
The Pain Fruit used to be called the Paw Fruit. It was updated and reworked in Update 20, which was released in 2023.
Getting the Pain Fruit
Pain Fruit is a Legendary Natural-type Blox Fruit. It costs $2,300,000 or 2,200 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer. It's a pink fruit with a bandage covering its right eye, and a glowing frowny face.
Pain Fruit Moveset
Heavy Pain (Z) Unlocked at: Mastery 1 Cooldown: 8 seconds Description: You shoot a paw-shaped projectile at your enemy. This projectile is very fast and is long-range. It deals damage when hitting enemies, and can damage any enemy it passes through. If the projectile gets a direct hit, it will break instinct.
Pain Barrage (X) Unlocked at: 100 Mastery Cooldown: 12 seconds Description: You shoot a flurry of Heavy Pain projectiles. Each projectile does individual damage, and functions the same way as the Heavy Pain projectile with the exception of breaking instinct—this move cannot break instinct at all.
Pain Nuke (C) Unlocked at: 200 Mastery Cooldown: 18 seconds Description: You fire a small paw-shaped projectile that explodes like a nuclear bomb when it lands. The projectile is fast and long-range, and will fling enemies into the air when it explodes. This move will always break instinct.
Torture (V) Mastery cost: 300 Mastery Cooldown: 24 seconds Description: You shoot a big paw-shaped projectile that pulses red. If it hits an enemy, it will deal tick damage and distort their screen, turning it red. This projectile is long-range. This move will always break instinct.
Self Repel (F) Unlocked at: 50 Mastery Cooldown: 7 seconds Description: You dash towards the mouse cursor once this move goes off. It travels farther than Dark Fruit's Ghastly Step and Rumble Fruit's Electric Flash.

FAQ
Can you awaken Pain Fruit in Blox Fruits? No, you currently cannot awaken the Pain Fruit. An awakening may be added in the future, however.
Is Pain Fruit good for combos? Yes, Pain Fruit is great for combos. This is specifically due to the V move (Torture), which makes combos very difficult to instinct trick. However, pulling off combos with the Pain Fruit takes a lot of skill.
Which is better, Pain Fruit or Control Fruit? In general, Pain Fruit is a better choice, but neither fruit are optimal choices. Pain Fruit is better for combos and Self Repel is a much better movement ability than Control's Teleport move. Control Fruit also has higher mastery requirements.
Is Pain Fruit getting a rework? The Pain Fruit is already a rework of the Paw Fruit, but the Pain Fruit might be getting another rework. While it hasn't been confirmed officially, some users state that Blox Fruits' head admin said Pain will be getting a rework and there are a number of videos on YouTube and TikTok discussing the rework. For now, we'll just have to wait and see if anything about a Pain Fruit rework gets officially announced.
