Go to the Venmo website.
Go to https://www.venmo.com in a web browser. You can use any web browser to access Venmo, such as Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.
Click the "Get Venmo" button.
If you don't have an account, click Get Venmo to create one now. You'll see this button on the left side of the page.
Choose a Personal or Business account.
Select either Personal or Business. If you just want to be able to pay and accept money from friends and business, create a Personal account. If you have a business, create a Business account.
Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
You'll need to verify your phone number to start using Venmo. Once you enter your phone number and click Send code, Venmo will text you a verification code. Entering the code will link your phone number to your account. Once you've created an account, you can link your bank account and/or debit card and start sending and receiving payments.
