How to Delete Text Messages on Android
How to Delete Text Messages on Android
This wikiHow teaches you how to select and remove an SMS text message conversation from your inbox, using Android.
Steps

Open your Android's Messages app.

Find the Messages icon on your Apps menu, and tap it to open your inbox. If the Messages app opens up to a conversation, tap Android 7 Arrow Back on the top-left to go back to your inbox.

Tap and hold the message you want to delete.

This selects the message and allows you to edit it. If you'd rather select multiple messages to delete at once, long-press the first message to select it, and then tap every message you want to add.

Tap the DELETE button.

The DELETE button is at the upper-right corner of the screen. This deletes the message from your inbox. On some versions, you might see a trash icon here instead of a DELETE button. In this case, tap the trash icon to delete. You may have to tap DELETE a second time to confirm.
