Open your iPhone’s iPhone Settings App Icon Settings. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
Tap General. It’s in the third group of settings.
Scroll down and tap Keyboard. It’s near the center of the list.
Tap Keyboards. A list of keyboards will appear.
Tap Add New Keyboard….
Scroll down and tap Chinese (Simplified). A list of keyboard layouts will appear.
Tap your desired layout. You can choose a QWERTY, 10 Key, or AZERTY style Pinyin keyboard.
Tap Done. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your Chinese keyboard is now ready to use.
Press the Home button. It's the button at the bottom-center part of the screen. This brings you back to the home screen.
Open WeChat. It’s the green icon with two white chat bubbles inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
Open a chat. You can tap any conversation in the Chats screen, or create a new chat from the Contacts screen.
Tap the message box. This is the blank box at the bottom of the conversation. The default keyboard will appear.
Tap and hold the globe key. It’s near the bottom-left corner of the keyboard. A list of keyboards will appear.
Select the Pinyin keyboard. Now that your keyboard is in Chinese, you can use it to type Chinese messages in WeChat.
