What is Prestige in Phasmophobia?
Prestige resets everything in exchange for new badges and ID cards. Once a player hits level 100, the player can "Prestige" to reset their level to 1 and remove all money, equipment, and upgrades. In exchange, the player receives a brand new badge and title for the ID Card visible in the lobby. Players who Prestige will need to go through the leveling system again from level 1, but will get to keep all map locations and difficulty settings. Prestige is an optional game mechanic for players who want the challenge that comes with starting over from scratch and want new badge/ID card cosmetics.
How to Prestige in Phasmophobia
Launch Phasmophobia. If you want to Prestige your account in Phasmophobia, you can do so from the pre-game lobby. You must reach level 100 to Prestige. If you aren't here yet, you'll need to go on investigations to level up!
Interact with the bulletin board. This is where you can select Single Player or Multiplayer game modes along with other settings.
Select Prestige underneath your ID badge. This will open a new note with information about the Prestige mechanic.
Select Prestige. This is the piece of tape on the bottom-right. You should see a preview of your current ID card and the next ID card. Once you press the button, your level will be reset to 1 and you'll lose your current money, equipment, and upgrades. However, you'll receive the new badge and a roman numeral next to your current level.
