KARIMNAGAR: About 10 youths, belonging to Uttar Pradesh, have been punished by people of Tank Colony on the outskirts of Sultanabad on Wednesday for attending nature's call at the lake in the place. They faulted the youth for polluting the water by urinating in the lake.
According to information reaching here, the residents of the colony put up a board banning attending to nature's call at the tank, six months ago. The board also stated that people found doing it would be fined Rs 1,000 and those giving information about it would be awarded Rs 500. People living near the lake have been following the instructions strictly. But on Wednesday, the youths were found doing the unwanted act.

On knowing about it, residents of the Colony rushed to the spot, tied the youths tied together with a rope and made them sit on the tank bund for sometime.
