Neha, wife of Zail Singh was poisoned to death yesterday by her in-laws, SHO, Gajender Singh said, adding, police has registered a case against seven persons including Singh on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim's brother. The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.
Neha married Singh on February 24, 2012, he said, adding, the husband is working as an engineer in a sugar mill.
Neha's brother Pankaj has alleged in the FIR that the in-laws were demanding Rs five lakh in dowry and she was murdered when she did not concede to their demands.
