Anna Hazare receives threat letter

New Delhi: Social activist Anna Hazare has reportedly received a letter in which the sender has threatened to kill him. The sender of the letter is yet to be identified.

In the letter Hazare has been threatened that he would be killed if he does not withdraw his petition in the Bombay High Court against the increase in the pension of legislators. The letter sent to Ralegaon Siddhi has asked Hazare to withdraw the petition in 15 days.

Hazare received the letter on September 10. The letter was posted on September 6 at Aurangabad district of Maharashtra.

Police officials are investigating the letter.
