New Delhi: Senior journalist Arnab Goswami has resigned as the Editor-in-Chief of Times Now and ET Now after a decade at the helm, according to media reports.
Goswami announced his resignation at an editorial conference in the Mumbai office of Times Now television channel. According to reports, Goswami plans to launch a new TV venture with backing from a few private investors.
Neither Goswami nor the Times Group, which owns the channels Times Now and ET Now, reacted to reports of his resignation.
Goswami was in the news recently when central government accorded him ‘Y’ category security after intelligence reports of threat against him by Pakistani terror groups.
