Assam: 2 rhinos killed in Kaziranga National Park
According to the latest census conducted in March, there were 2,329 rhinos in Kaziranga National Park.

Kaziranga: Two rhinos have been killed in Kaziranga National Park near Burapahar range on Wednesday. At least 20 Rhinos have been killed so far in Kaziranga. Two-thirds of the world's famed one-horned rhinoceroses live at this national park.

In 2012, 38 rhinos were killed in the 430 square kilometer park. UNESCO has dubbed the park a world heritage site. Rhino horns sell for up to Rs 1 crore in the international market.

According to the latest census conducted in March, there were 2,329 rhinos in Kaziranga National Park. Meanwhile, to ensure better surveillance, the introductory test flight of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was held in the Park on April 8 this year.
