The audio of bilingual film 'Chandra', in Kannada and Tamil, made by Roopa Iyer was out on January 22 at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.
Known for variety in her thoughts, Iyer organized Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation 'Miss Karnataka 2013' contest prior to the audio release of the film 'Chandra'.
After the audio release of the film, the new brand of Sarees brought out by KSIC world famous textile, diary of 2013 of KSIC and Miss Karnataka 2013 was declared on this occasion.

India Classic Arts 'Chandra' is all set for release in two months time.
It will be a simultaneous release of the film in Kannada and Tamil stated Roopa Iyer. For this film I was inspired from Dr Rajakumar 'Kavirathna Kalidasa' and it is at the post production stage she informed.
Gautham Srivatsav the hero of the evening - music director felt that the film has come out like a painting what we get to see in Hindi film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. There are six songs in the album of 'Chandra' penned by Jayanth Kaikini, AP Arjun, Roopa Iyer and Dr V Nagendra Prasad.
Anuradha Bhat, Badari Prasad, Tippu, Sonu Nigam, Chitra, Madhu Balakrishna, Karthik have lent their voice for the film 'Chandra' six songs.
