Audrey Hepburn: Be it CGI-animated commercials, or her films -- fans want more of the 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' star
Audrey Hepburn: Be it CGI-animated commercials, or her films -- fans want more of the 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' star
A CGI-animated Hepburn starred in a 2013 commercial. Won't fans love to see Gregory Peck and Humphrey Bogart next?

"I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it."

- Audrey Hepburn

The dark fringe, the perfectly painted red lips, the arch of her neck, the sparkle in her eyes, and of course the impeccable clothes -- 'world's most beautiful woman' Audrey Hepburn was known for her grace, poise as well as her acting.

On the occasion of her 85th birth anniversary, her fans all over are talking about her commitment to her craft, her passionate relationships and her humanitarian endevours. The older generations, who grew up watching Hepburn on the big screen, lament her early death, and claim that there will be no other actress like her.

But Hepburn, whose face is still visible on scores of pop-culture-inspired advertisements, magazine covers, retro products and fabulous memes, made another comeback on the screen in 2013 -- posthumously.

Last year, on this day, British chocolate brand Galaxy unveiled a television advertisement, which starred Hepburn. Made with the use of CGI technology, the ad, which looks startlingly real -- shows Hepburn gazing gaminely from a bus window, flirting with a driver and skipping through an Italian market-place before eating a square of Galaxy chocolate.

"Our mother often spoke about her love of chocolate and how it lifted her spirit, so we're sure she would have been proud of her role as the face of Galaxy. The advert perfectly captures her playful spirit and we hope audiences enjoy it as much as they enjoyed her movies," said Hepburn's sons, Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti.

For fans, who can never get enough of their favourite stars, the CGI technology-led revolution in filmmaking will seem like a blessing. The Galaxy ad, which took almost a year to complete, was made using Hepburn's old photographs.

While the animated Hepburn might not look, feel and act EXACTLY like the original one, fans will be happy to see glimpses of their favourite stars every once in a while.

Won't it be lovely to see CGI animated versions of Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn and Grace Kelly next?
