"State government is keen to ensure beautification of parks and other spots to further raise tourists influx," Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma, said on Thursday.
Sharma inspected the various ongoing developmental works and instructed the executing agencies to complete the projects within the stipulated time frame.
He directed the officers of Flood Control department to direct their field functionaries for timely completion of protection wall and steps along Chenab River at Dusserha Ground Akhnoor.
