Jodhpur: The CBI is likely to seek arrest warrant against Congress MLA Malkhan Singh, after he failed to appear for questioning in the case of missing nurse Bhanwari Devi.
The central investigating agency said Malkhan, whose brother Parasram Bishnoi is an accused, will be declared an absconder and his property will be attached.
The CBI had summoned Congress MLA Malkhan Singh Bishnoi once again on December 12 after he failed to appear before it on December 10 for questioning in connection with the case of the missing nurse.
He did not appear before the CBI on December 10 citing his non-availability in Jodhpur as the reason.
His son had informed the CBI in person in the evening that he was in New Delhi, after which the CBI issued second summons to him on December 11 asking him to appear before the CBI next day.
