Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khursheed Kasuri said those guilty for the Mumbai train blasts are enemies of joint Pakistan-India efforts to bury a history of hostile relations, CNN was quoted as saying.
Kasuri, however, did not speculate on the identities or origins of any of the suspects.
''Well, one thing I know, that these people do not wish Pakistan and India's peace process well. They are the enemies of the peace process, and we condemn this unequivocally,'' Kasuri told CNN when asked who he thought was responsible for the attacks.
Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had demanded a ''firm commitment'' from Pakistan that it would not allow terrorists to use its territory for attacks against India.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry denied that anti-India terrorists are operating on its soil.
''Our position is very clear on this. We have repeatedly said this, and this is our government policy, that we will not allow anyone to use our soil against anyone (else),'' spokeswoman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Tasnim Aslam, was quoted as saying by Pakistan's Geo television.
She said that Pakistan will cooperate with India to investigate any information New Delhi may provide on terrorists in Pakistan.
New Delhi, on Sunday, postponed talks between senior Pakistani and Indian officials, who'd been scheduled to meet on July 20-21 in New Delhi as part of a peace process.
India has formally told Pakistan that it was postponing the two countries' foreign secretaries meeting, and that no new dates have been fixed, an Indian foreign ministry official said on condition of anonymity.
