BTech student hangs self in city lodge

HYDERABAD: A BTech graduate from Vijayawada was found hanging in a lodge at Ameerpet on Friday afternoon.According to Punjagutta police sub-inspector Butchaih, the deceased P Kiran Nath (29) hails from Moghalarajapuram in Vijayawada.He completed his BTech and was working as a software engineer in a private firm there.On September 28 at 8.40 a.m, Kiran came to Raj Madan lodge at Ameerpet and checked into a room. On Friday, one of his cousins Hari Kishan came to meet him and found the room locked from inside. Kiran’s cousin alerted the lodge management who forced open the room and found him hanging from the ceiling fan.Though Kiran Nath did not leave behind any suicide note, he left a small slip in which he wrote that he likes Bulli and Shaji a lot. “Bulli is Kiran Nath’s younger brother but it is not known who Shaji is,” Butchaiah said. Police said further details can only be known after Kiran’s parents arrive. In another incident, a BTech graduate ended his life allegedly depressed over not getting a job. V Harish Kumar Choudhary (27), a resident of Meerpet hanged himself in the house on Thursday after his mother went out on some work. Police suspect Harish might have taken his life depressed over failing to get a job.
