Meanwhile, this year, the DUSU polls has a new participant – Aam Aadmi Party's newborn student union. AAP's student wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) has tried to make a dent in the traditional two-corner fight between BJP's youth wing ABVP and Congress's NSUI.
The elections are scheduled to take place on September 11.
