In a shocking development from Karimnagar in Telangana, 8 children in state-run care home were allegedly tortured by a caretaker.
The accused reportedly burnt the children with a heated spoon. The police have not received an official complaint but they have launched an investigation.
The state commission for the protection of child rights has also issued a notice to collector of Karimnagar for an inquiry and has sought a report by May 2.
