The bodies of four special police officers, who were abducted by Naxals recently, have been found in Bijapur.
An armed group of Naxals had stopped a passenger bus in which the four policemen were travelling and abducted them on Monday.
The police and paramilitary forces had launched a massive combing operation in the area to trace the abducted personnel.
The Naxals were reportedly conducting a checking of passenger buses and other vehicles en-route to Kutru from Bijapur on Monday evening when they abducted the police officials, who were travelling in a bus
The kidnapped personnel had been identified as Jaidev Yadav, Mangal Sodhi and Raju Tela, all posted at Kutru police station, Rama Majji, deployed at Bedre police station.
