City students top AIEEE in state

BANGALORE: Results of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), which was held on May 1, were announced on Saturday.
More than 10.5 lakh students had appeared for the exam. City lads Krishna Chaitanya, Abhilash S and Srinivasan R bagged top three ranks in the state. In AIEEE Architecture, city girls Amritha Chandramohan and Akshata N Hegde bagged first and third ranks respectively.Chaitanya's allIndia rank is 53. He said he would pursue either a dual degree in mechanical or electrical from IIT Chennai or study B Tech in Aerospace from IIT Kharagpur.
