CJM court to read out chargesheet on Wednesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on Wednesday will read out the chargesheet in the case pertaining to the tampering of chemical examination report related to the Sister Abhaya murder case.
The two accused in the case, R Geetha and M Chitra, will be present before CJM B Kalam Pasha to receive thechargesheet. On May 31, the CJM ordered to chargesheet Geetha and Chitra in the case. The allegation was that the duo had tampered with the work register in the state chemical examiners' laboratory to negate the result of the chemical examination done on the vaginal swab and smear ofthelate Abhaya. Based on an 'Express' expose in April, 2007, human rights activist Jomon Puthenpurackal had petitioned the court seeking action against these officials.
