Blowing the bugle of Lok Sabha polls, Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi addressed a poll rally in Shivpuri district today.
While addressing the rally he lashed out at the ruling Congress and said that the party is only concerned with the career of its son (Rahul Gandhi). Further, attacking the Congress scion, he said "Cabinet and PM’s decisions are over ruled by Shehzade. Democracy has been insulted by Rahul Gandhi and Sonia." He also warned the public by saying that its time for people reject Congress's lies.
Raising the issue of hailstorm and unseasonal rains last February, he said farmers have been destroyed by hailstorms and it devastated Shivraj Singh Chouhan. "While farmers were facing hailstorms, Congress leaders were busy cutting ribbons" he added.
The BJP's Prime Minister candidate also called Congress responsible for the end of Rajmata's legacy. "Leaders are full of pride, they are not ready to listen to anyone," Modi said.
On Friday, launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Narendra Modi said that the ruling party had betrayed people by failing to keep its promise to check inflation within 100 days before the last Lok Sabha election.
