BURLA: It has been a week since retired superintending engineer, Bhikari Charan Mishra of Sri Ram Vihar under Burla police limits went missing. The police are yet to get any clues on his whereabouts.His son, Ashutosh Mishra, who resides in Delhi lodged a complaint with the Burla police after failing to contact his father on March 27.A native of Deshbhatli village in Bargarh district, Mishra was living alone after the demise of his wife in 2001. His son and daughter live outside the State.On March 25, Mishra left home after lunch and informed his domestic help, Samanta Bhoi, that he would be away for two days. Bhoi was also directed to hand over the house keys to a woman and her male escort on their arrival that day. They, however, left the house a little time later.
