200. Dharampuri is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Dhar (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Dharampuri falls in Dhar district and Malwa Tribal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 1,95,028 voters in the seat, which includes 99,436 male voters, and 95,588 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Dharampuri recorded a voter turnout of 78.65%. In 2013 the turnout was 71.86%, and in 2008 it was 73.5%.

In 2013, Kalusingh Thakur of BJP won the seat by a margin of 7,573 votes (5.74%). Kalusingh Thakur secured 49.3% of the total votes polled.

INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 6,654 votes (7.09%), registering 46.55% of the total votes polled.
