50 years in Telugu film industry, 40 years as a director and 150 films in his direction, all these figures reveal how great a director Dasari Narayana Rao is.
A big day for Dasari Narayana Rao, the film maker celebrates his 69th birthday today. Not only as a director, he is best known as an actor, producer, lyricist and also a good politician.
"Even from my student life, I used to work for 18-20 hours. It is the reason, why I could make 4 to 5 films in shifts at one time and could direct 150 films. Though I came to politics due to some reasons, I am not so much comfortable there as in the film industry", Dasari says.
Also, on the occasion of his birthday, the director has announced four films. He is going to act and direct a film titled 'Vaddi Kaasula Vaadu', in which he will play a peon in CM's office. Apart from it, he announced films with Relangi Narasimha Rao, a film introducing his co-director Ravi as the director, and a film with Manchu Vishnu for which Dr Mohan Babu and Vadde Ramesh will be the producers.
