Ex-BHPV employees house burgled

HYDERABAD: Property worth Rs 15 lakh has been stolen from the residence of a retired Bharat Heavy Plates and Vessels (BHPV) employee at Neredmet on Sunday night.
The theft took place in Venkateswarulu's house located in Defence Colony in Neredmet. Police said Venkateswarulu, who hails from Visakhapatnam, went to his native place on August 29 to attend a family event along with his family members.In the wee hours of Monday, some neighbours found the lock on the main door broken and articles ransacked inside the house. They alerted Venkateshwarlu who returned to the city on getting to know about the incident and complained to Neredmet police.
