New Delhi: World Number one Roger Federer has beaten sixth seed American Andy Roddick to enter the finals of the Australian Open on Thursday.
Federer beat his American opponent in straight sets 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. Roddick began well by breaking Federer in the first game of the first set. But from that point on Federer was unstoppable.
Roddick had no answer to Federer's skill and lost 11 straight games. And the world number one made sure he didn't let Roddick get back into the match, winning the second and third sets with ease.
Federer will either play Fernando Gonzalez of Chile or Tommy Haas of Germany in the final on Sunday.
