Foetus found in drain

BANGALORE: A female foetus was found in the drainage of Sudhamanagar in Wilson Garden police station limits on Saturday morning.  The police officials have suspected that somebody threw the foetus, aged about four months, in the drainage after an abortion.The police said that some passersby saw it in the drain near Nandi Printers in Sudhamanagar. They immediately rushed to the spot, recovered the foetus and sent it to Victoria Hospital mortuary.  The police said nobody has seen the culprit and it is suspected that it was thrown in the wee hours of Saturday. Wilson Garden police have registered a case and are investigating.
