Food poisoning: Four youths admitted to General Hospital

Four youths who ate biriyani from a restaurant near Pulimoodu has been admitted to the General Hospital due to food poisoning. Gokul from Punalur, Clement from Mannamoola, Nandu from Anchal and Anub from Kachani, who ate the biriyani from ‘Onam’ restaurant were hospitalised after they started vomiting after consuming the biriyani. Thampanoor police said that the youths had consumed chicken and beef biriyani from the hotel in the afternoon.

Within 30 minutes, the four started vomiting and were taken to the hospital. The hotel was immediately sealed by the Food Safety Commissioner.
