The film can boast of good actors as the cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Kishan, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni.

New Delhi: What happens when four policemen find that they don't exactly possess the same personality they think they do? 'Chaalis Chauraasi' is the story of just one night where Pankaj Suri aka Sir (Naseeruddin Shah), Albert Pinto (Kay Kay Menon), Bobby (Atul Kulkarni) and Shakti Chinappa (Ravi Kishan) are out on a mission which can produce them a great fortune. However the fate has something else in its store for these men. Things change the moment when another cop takes them as his backup to trap a dangerous gangster.

The situation becomes so delicate that the division between the law and the crime gets omitted. The men who thought themselves as the most rough and tough on the earth realise that the truth lies somewhere else.

The film can boast of good actors in the form of Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Kishan, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni. In fact acting is the highlight of '4084'.

Mixing crime and humour is a difficult art but the director Hriday Shetty has shown the willingness to mix the two in 'Chaalis Chauraasi'. Shetty is apparently influenced by films like 'Sir', 'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai', 'Bobby' and 'Shakti' and that's why he has given his characters names based on these films.

The music of the film is given by Vishal Ranjan and Lalit Pandit. Although the songs have not become popular but 'Setting Zhala' has got a peppy tune to it.

This is not the first time when Naseeruddin Shah is doing a cop role. He had done a similar role in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Maqbool' where he had played the role of a corrupt police officer.

Atul Kulkarni is also not new for such a role. 'Dum' had featured Atul as a police officer with a larger than life ego.

Kay Kay Menon and Ravi Kishan are also versatile actors and they can pull off such roles with ease.

The director Hriday Shetty is active in the Hindi film industry since 1993. He has four films 'Daag-Shades of Love', 'Plan', 'Pyaar Mein Twist', and 'Godfather-The Legend Continues' to his credit as the director but none of these films was a box office success. This time Shetty can expect for a good box office finish due to a good assembled star cast.
