The Justice M S Liberhan commission report on the demolition of the Babri Masjid holds then UP CM Kalyan Singh for embarking on a "pogrom leading up to the events of December 6th 1992". Senior BJP leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi are called "pseudo-moderates" in the commission's report. Justice Liberhan has almost given a clean chit to then Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao.
