THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state committee of the KGMOA on Monday alleged that the government had gone back on its promise to find a final solution to the issues raised by the doctors by Monday. This indifferent attitude of the state government would only make the health sector of the state more chaotic, they warned. The KGMOA said that they had postponed the strike at least three times in the last two months on the request of the government. This was in the hope that the government would find an amicable solution to the problems, they said. After the last round of discussions with the striking doctors in Ernakulam on Sunday, the government had promised to come to a final agreement in the follow-up discussions here on Monday. But, the state government remained indifferent, alleged KGMOA state president Dr Prameela Devi and state general secretary Dr E P Mohanan in a statement here.
