Four persons, including two security force personnel, were injured on Tuesday in a grenade attack on a CRPF patrol party in south Kashmir's Shopian district.
Srinagar: Seven civilians and two paramilitary troopers were injured on Tuesday when suspected militants hurled a grenade at security forces in a south Kashmir village, police said.
The grenade exploded on the roadside in Bon Bazar area of Shopian district when a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) party was patrolling the area, a police officer said.
The nine injured included four women. They have been shifted to a hospital, the police officer said.
The attack came as security forces are battling an unknown number of heavily-armed militants holed up inside a government building in Pampore area of Pulwama district, also in south Kashmir.
